Attention Test Takers!!!!! Of the three major learning styles or modalities (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) most people spend their time studying for an exam, using only one modality of learning. The most common modality is the use of visual aids, simply because it's a permanent form and what we are used to, e.g., books, memos, newspapers, etc.. However, this modality alone is not enough to excel during promotional testing. Using a multi-modality method increases learning exponentially, which is why we have found success in combining the reading of the guidelines with listening to the verbal recording. When you listen to the guidelines while reading the text, you will find it easy to follow along. Using this method, your eyes will stay focused on the text and your ears will be attuned to the audio. For me, this multi-modality method resulted in improved memory of the guidelines. When I was not sitting down studying, I was driving, running, spending weekends on LBI, all while listening to the audio guidelines. If you dedicate yourself to listening, you will find yourself, as I had, forecasting the text ahead. Thank you for visiting and good luck! Sincerely, Brian Creator of Sound Studies |
